Passenger Information Systems for Metro’s, Emu’s & Memu’s
The Optitech Passenger Announcement, Display and Information System is a proven and versatile system approved to cover the entire gamut of railway requirements with RDSO approval. It is a 100% indigenous solution built to suit India specific requirements. The system has excellent project references for Long Distance Trains, EMU’s and in Metro Applications. The Metro System is a hybrid system that uses the redundant Ring Ethernet backbone for train networks and supports IP based LCD passenger Displays and IP based Route Maps. For LED scrolling displays and emergency talkback options, the system uses RS485 network within a coach, thus optimising cabling and hardware cost without compromising on reliability. A 100% fall back to manual system permits the system to function even whilst the network or the Main control units are disrupted. The system has a versatile advertising engine, making it possible to advertise.
Optitech Systems for EMU’s, MEMU’s and DEMU’s
A.Paul Pioneered PAPIS for EMU’s with its 2-wire data and PA technology now standardised by RDSO for Retrofitment projects with a constraint on train lines. The system however, is versatile and provides, in addition, the following features as add on functions:
- Interfaces to Train Control and Monitoring System
- Integration to control center infrastructure over GSM/R and 3G/4G networks.
- 100% redundancy on data and PA lines.
- EN50155 and IEC60571-1 compliant and certified.
- Emergency TalkBack passenger-guard Intercom.
Optitech for Metro
The Metro System is a hybrid system that uses the redundant Ring Ethernet backbone for train networks and supports IP based LCD passenger Displays and IP based Route Maps.
Optitech System Components
VGA and Ethernet Connectivity for Messaging and advertising.
Industry Leading Dual Input, Dual Output Class D Amplifiers with auto voice generations and VOIP support. Compact and easy to use.
Emergency Talk Back Unit
During SOS conditions, passenger can talk to the train supervisor rather than pull the chain.
LED Head Code
Used in local loop train sets, multilingual Head Codes show the destination and rake configuration of the train.
Train Set Control Units
For use in EMU and Metro rakes, Main Operating Panel enables driver/guard to manage PA, Display Systems, driver- guard Intercom and Passenger Emergency Control Systems. Main Control Unit manages system network in conjunction with Main Operating panel.
