The Optitech Passenger Announcement, Display and Information System is a proven and versatile system approved to cover the entire gamut of railway requirements with RDSO approval. It is a 100% indigenous solution built to suit India specific requirements. The system has excellent project references for Long Distance Trains, EMU’s and in Metro Applications. The Metro System is a hybrid system that uses the redundant Ring Ethernet backbone for train networks and supports IP based LCD passenger Displays and IP based Route Maps. For LED scrolling displays and emergency talkback options, the system uses RS485 network within a coach, thus optimising cabling and hardware cost without compromising on reliability. A 100% fall back to manual system permits the system to function even whilst the network or the Main control units are disrupted. The system has a versatile advertising engine, making it possible to advertise.

A.Paul Pioneered PAPIS for EMU’s with its 2-wire data and PA technology now standardised by RDSO for Retrofitment projects with a constraint on train lines. The system however, is versatile and provides, in addition, the following features as add on functions:
